Application Deadline: REALTOR® Emeritus

April 2nd is the deadline to complete certification forms for REALTOR® Emeritus status, which recognizes REALTOR® and REALTOR®-Associate members with 40 years of continuous membership along with committee service participation.

The REALTOR® Emeritus program is a special membership status honoring those REALTORS® who have maintained their membership for 40 years or more. Emeritus members receive a certificate and pin to show their status, payment of National Association dues is waived for the remainder of their membership, and they are exempt from the Code of Ethics Training requirement.

REALTOR® Emeritus qualifications are changing soon!

FOR 2019 ONLY, members may qualify for Emeritus status if they:

Have held membership in the National Association as a REALTOR®, REALTOR-ASSOCIATE®, or both, for a cumulative period of forty (40) years; AND
have completed at least one (1) year of service at the National, state or local level.

Beginning in 2020, the service qualification will change so that at least one (1) year of service at the National level only will be accepted for Emeritus status. Service at the state or local level will not be considered. 2019 is your last opportunity to apply for REALTOR® Emeritus status with the state or local service requirement.

MilRES® was founded in 2010 by nationally known speaker Buddy West. After two years of researching the subject, traveling to military installations and interviewing military officers and enlisted service members, veterans, their families, and Congressman and heads of the Veteran’s administration,

the MilRES® team was ready with an outline and plan to develop the class. This class was not written by a “class writer or developer,” but from content from the military for Realtors® to serve the military. The one day class is just the beginning. It will give you a solid foundation to create systems, generate leads, and provide superior service.

Closure of Route 5 / Harbeson Road for
Bridge Replacement

DelDOT’s contractor will be closing Route 5, just north of the intersection with US 9 in order to replace a bridge structure and begin road widening of the existing intersection.

WHERE: Route 5/Harbeson Road, North of US 9/Lewes-Georgetown Highway between Diamond Farm Road and Harbeson

WHEN: 6:00 AM on January 22, 2019 until 6:00 AM on March 21, 2019, pending weather.

DETOUR ROUTES:

Route 5/Harbeson Road will be closed north of the US 9/Lewes-Georgetown Highway.
Motorists leaving Milton to travel southbound on Route 5/Harbeson Road will need to utilize Sand Hill Road westbound to Route 30/Gravel Hill Road southbound to eastbound US 9/Lewes-Georgetown Highway.
Traffic leaving Harbeson to travel northbound to Route 5/Harbeson Road will need to utilize US 9/Lewes-Georgetown Highway westbound to Route 30/Gravel Hill Road northbound, to eastbound Sand Hill Road.
For all of the other intersecting routes, motorists should follow the posted detour signage.
During this construction, all businesses will remain open to the public.
